Board of Directors

In a company the Board of Directors (BOD) is the civilian equivalent of a squadron/company commander in the military service. Consequently, when the Board of Directors make decisions in regards to company policy everyone in the company has to abide by the BOD’s decision. When co-owners decide to blatantly disregard the BOD mandated company policy one of several things has to take place. Either that disruptive co-owner gets bought out of the company or a company wide vote of co-owners has to be made to vote that co-owner out of the company. A team of co-owners have to be in one accord in order to press forward in line with the company’s goals. A co-owner that will not toe the company line has no place having ownership in any case whatsoever. Disruptiveness and total disregard of company policy should not be tolerated by anyone in the company even if it’s committed by co-owners.
